Christopher Loren Ewers is a cinematographer and filmmaker. His diverse career has lead him to shoot for network clients, Fortune 500 brands and non-profit organizations alike. In addition to having over 2 decades of experience working with creative agencies both global and local on a variety of commercial projects, he regularly collaborates with Ken Burns and the Oscar nominated and Emmy Award winning filmmakers at Florentine Films on a wide variety of documentary projects. Chris shot his first narrative feature, The Disruptors which premiered in 2024.

He studied cinematography at Boston University, photojournalism at the New England School of Photography and has traveled the world exploring the human experience through the lens. He and his Emmy Award winning brother, Erik are the creative team behind Ewers Brothers Productions. Their first documentary feature, The Mayo Clinic: Fatih, Hope, Science streaming on Amazon Prime, was Executive Produced by Ken Burns and premiered in September 2018 on PBS. It was viewed by more than 6 million people worldwide. Their second feature, Hiding in Plain Sight: Youth Mental Illness premiered on PBS in June 2022 to millions. They are currently in production on new projects; Hiding in Plain Sight: Adult Mental Illness and a film about Henry David Thoreau.

Chris is an avid Red Sox fan and lives outside NYC in Connecticut with his wife Christy, their two children and their dogs, Princess Leia and Carl.
